About Us

WebExperiment.net is a free service that allows researchers in the social and biological sciences to post online experiments.

Currently we use our in-house experimental creation software, Survey v.6 (Wathne & Platek, 2007). Survey supports several types of survey/questionnaire tasks including small and large text boxes, conditional and required responses, use of earlier entered items in later questions, radio buttons, check boxes, and slider for rating scales. Additionally, you can also present images, for example in a face rating task. Survey v.5 provides a rank function that allows researchers to collect information about the ranking of certain stimuli. Items (e.g., questions, images) can also be shuffled prior to presentation for a random presentation sequence. If you would like to use Survey, please contact Steve Platek and Kyrre Wathne.

Survey v.5 can also tap the power of PXLab which is a fully functional cognitive experimental software designed by Professor Hans Irtel.

Have a go at our demo guide to see what Survey has to offer.
